The Sausalito Kiln Legacy

Where clay, mineral glaze, and human hands meet.

In our Sausalito workshop overlooking the San Francisco Bay, clay is mixed, shaped on jiggers and potter’s wheels, and finished by hand. We leave the outer rims unglazed to expose the natural warmth and sandy tooth of California clay.

“A plate is not merely a vessel for food; it is an enduring companion to conversation, warmth, and daily ritual.”

Every glaze is formulated in-house from earth minerals and applied by dipping. Through high-fire gas reduction, subtle variations in tone and texture emerge — ensuring no two pieces are precisely identical, yet all harmonize together on your table.
